Miels du Cameroun — the apiculture line of Saveurs du Cameroun

From the hive to the table

Miels du Cameroun is the apiculture line of Saveurs du Cameroun SARL, built on a simple principle: the identified beekeeper. Every jar is pure honey, harvested in Cameroon, traceable back to the beekeeper and the apiary that produced it.

Our story

Saveurs du Cameroun SARL runs an ecosystem dedicated to gastronomy, heritage preservation, beekeeping and agro-ecotourism, built around the SCOOP-CA ONGOLA cooperative (Ntui) and the "Miels du Cameroun" Economic Interest Group currently being formed. This approach is part of the Slow Food Cooks' Alliance, to protect the national culinary and honey heritage.

"Miels du Cameroun" is not a separate brand: it is the specialized declination of the "Saveurs du Cameroun" house label, applied to honey and hive products — propolis, royal jelly, wax, pollen — under the same standard of traceability and naturalness.

Our terroir honeys

Each honey tells the story of a different territory, flora and know-how.

Miel Blanc d'Oku
An exceptional honey from the Kilum-Ijim massif (about 2,000 m altitude), in Cameroon's North-West. Creamy and rare, recognized by a protected geographical indication.
Miel de Ntui
Golden, multi-floral honey, harvested and packaged by the SCOOP-CA ONGOLA cooperative in the Centre region. Everyday sweetness, traceable back to the apiary.

Our quality commitments

Every honey labeled "Miels du Cameroun" meets verified criteria of origin, purity and traceability.

Our network

Miels du Cameroun relies on the SCOOP-CA ONGOLA cooperative and the "Miels du Cameroun" Economic Interest Group, working with IRAD (the Agricultural Research Institute for Development) on the scientific characterization of our honeys. The brand is filed with OAPI and is part of the Slow Food movement.
